Owners overdue paying Community fees
Service Restrictions

Overdue payment.jpg

We are totally dependent on the community fees being paid by owners for running Sector 1.

As such, late payments inhibit our ability to provide the service owners expect. Whilst many owners do pay promptly, usually by direct debit, we do have some habitual late payers.
To encourage payment on time, delays of over 2 months settling community fees will result in 2 actions:

1) The lagoon wristbandsfor the apartment that is late paying will have access removed. This means any occupants, owners or renters, will not be able to use the lagoon or its facilities. The lagoon team will be advised of blocked apartments should entry be attempted.

2) The Internet service, if included in the overdue apartment community fee, will be disconnected.

The wristbands will only be unblocked when all overdue amounts are paid. This process will be managed by Comunimas, who have access to account payments. Resumption of services will
take 1-2 weeks after the over- due payment has been made. Resumption after fee payment will be subject to an appropriate re-connection & re-activation charges.

It is unfortunate we have to resort to these lengths but feel the sanctions are needed to help protect the interests of the bulk of owners who pay on time.
